Lake Sebu is a town located 3000 above sea level. It has three lakes Lake Sebu, Lake Lahit and Lake Seloton. Lake Sebu the biggest lake is 564 hectares. 60% of inhabitanrs are native called T’bolis. These are gentle and peaceful farmers. They are artisans makers of bead works, the famous native cloth called t’nalak and brass metal figurines.

Lake Sebu located in the municipality of Lake Sebu, South Cotabato and within the Alah Valley region. The Philippine government has recognized it as one of the country’s most important watersheds. Lake Sebu is one of the many bodies of water supplying important irrigation to the provinces of Sultan Kudarat and South Cotabato.

This southwestern Mindanao’s summer capital conceals majestic waterfalls called Seven Falls, located in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. Cable and ziplines provide exhilarating adventures for those who are brave enough to zip from falls to falls while looking down at the breathtaking panorama. The second falls, simply named as Falls 2, is not far from the first waterfall, Dongon Falls. Just a short habal-habal going down the road from Dongon falls, you’ll reach the entrance gate. The place has been developed into a park and these can best be viewed through the stunning and exciting zipline. Here is a video that features some of Lake Sebu’s magnificient views and unforgettable experiences during the Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour and First SoCCSKSarGen Summer Safari.

The water in the lakes flows in a river. along the river you will find 7 water falls the highest being over 200 feet. Only about two have been explored. An exploration of the seven falls ala Indiana jones would be such a fabulous experience. You practically have to make your own path through the trees and vegetation. The falls were beautiful the water pristine and the area has virginal in beauty such beauty good for the movies. The trek would take only a day. The place is peaceful. My family has been in the place since 1948 I could guarantee your safety.
